Residents of Chippenham and surrounding areas are invited to attend the Spring Health and Wellbeing Day, scheduled for Saturday, 5th April 2025. The event will take place at Ladyfield Evangelical Church from 10am to 3pm and is being organised by Carers Together Wiltshire and Wiltshire Council.
The event aims to support health, wellbeing and community connection through a variety of offerings. Attendees will have access to an information hall featuring local health experts and organisations providing guidance on various aspects of physical and mental wellbeing.
Throughout the day, visitors can participate in scheduled activities and informative talks designed to engage participants of all ages. Free refreshments will be available, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and individuals alike.
A special feature of the event is the Brain Dome, an educational experience providing attendees with a unique journey into understanding brain health, with a special focus on dementia awareness. This presenter-led voyage offers valuable insights into a condition affecting many in the community.
Those interested in experiencing the Brain Dome must book in advance by calling the Living Well team on 01249 470703 or sending an email to bswicb.livingwell.hathaway@nhs.net.
