Endeavour Explorer Scouts Unit (ESU) in Chippenham welcomes 14-17 year old explorer scouts. We are part of the Wiltshire North Scout District and have a specific focus on enjoying the outdoors and having fun. We do all the typical things you’d expect from Scouts – learning skills, cooking, hiking, camping, etc. We spend a lot of our time outside enjoying the Wiltshire countryside, and further afield and we are very keen to contribute to the communities we live in.
You may have seen us at important community events such as Christmas events or Remembrance services. We are also a Duke of Edinburgh centre and encourage everyone to pursue awards.
We meet on Friday evenings at King Alfred’s Hall, next to St Andrew’s Church from 7:30 to 9:30 during school term times. We have strong connections with all the local Explorer Scout Units and do many joint activities and camps with explorers from Chippenham and the rest of the district.
You can find out more by visiting our website and contact us via email.

Hi We have merged two ESUs and have a ESU flag lettered ENDEAVOUR ESU in an arch above, nothing else. We would like it to go to an Endeavour ESU without a flag. Do you have one?
Hi Tony. Please contact the Endeavour Scout Unit directly using the contact us email link in the above blog with your enquiry. Thank you.
Hi Tony,
I took over running this ESU about 18 months ago and have just discovered this site and this message. We do have a flag already. If you haven’t been able to find a home for it and still have this flag then I’m sure we can make good use of it.
Cheers
Jon
Good morning. I am very impressed with the Explorer Scout setup.
