Half term treat! An opportunity to meet children’s author, Maudie Smith. Join Maudie as she brings the seaside to the library – in her hat! £3/child book in advance
• Find out how the seaside and a real life seashell story have inspired Maudie’s picture books
• Listen to the story of A Hat Full of Sea and discover how clever Cora collects the sea in her hat for her Grandpa Jim
• Decorate a fish your way – will it be stripy, spotty or all the colours of the rainbow?! Then help Maudie bring a whole shoal of fish swimming to Grandpa Jim!
• And if you have a favourite hat, bring it along. Maudie will definitely be wearing hers!
