A Walk to Remember

Pull on your walking boots for Alzheimer’s Support’s A Walk to Remember – back for its third year at Bowood on Sunday 22nd June.

The sponsored walk is a circular seven-miles through some of North Wiltshire’s loveliest countryside, starting and finishing at the estate. We start with bacon/veggie butties and a fun group warm-up, and the post-walk celebrations include a finish line welcome from Chippenham Brass Band, a commemorative photo and medal, plus plenty of tea and cake.

A Walk to Remember is a lovely day out for the whole family, and an important fundraiser for Wiltshire’s own dementia charity which support more than 2,000 people in Wiltshire.
Everyone walks at their own pace, and part of the fun is the community spirit of joining in with others in a good cause.
