Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Lisa Betteridge – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play the second in a new series of monthly Café Concerts to Chippenham.
Every first Tuesday of each month at 11am in the beautiful surroundings and fine acoustic of St Andrew’s Church they play an informal concert with a pop-up café from 10.30am, where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and cakes, and enjoy live music.
To mark International Women’s Day on 8 March, our Café Concert programme is Daughters of the Muse – music by women composers, including Germaine Tailleferre, Lila Boulanger, Pauline Viardot, Rebecca Clark (Dumka) and Rosalind Ellicott.
The concert lasts c45m and entrance is by donation, with a retiring collection. All ages welcome, including children. A cake and a drink in the café costs £3.50. There’s no need to book, just turn up early for best choice of seat/cake.
