Chippenham Film Club’s July Presentation

Chippenham Film Club’s next offering will be Sweet Bean, a lovely Japanese film starring the late Kirin Kiki.
Made in 2015, Sweet Bean tells the story of Sentaro, the manager of a pancake stall, who finds himself confronted with an odd but sympathetic elderly woman looking for work. A taste of her homemade red bean paste convinces him to hire her, which starts a relationship that is about much more than just street food.
