Welcome to this year’s Corsham Walking Festival.
For our 8th Walking Festival, we have again numerous walks, and we hope you will find something to enjoy. To cater for a wide range of walking enthusiasts and abilities our walks vary in distance from 1.5 to 16.5 miles that go from Easy through Moderate to Challenging.
The Committee have been working hard since last October to offer some new walks, fine-tuning some of your favourites and we have several experts to talk about specialist subjects en route, as well as our experienced walk leaders and back markers to guide you.
Our guided walks will cover: All the points of the compass from Corsham, Ancient Parishes and Manor Houses, Industrial and Rural Heritage, Wildflowers and of course our beautiful countryside with hidden valleys, meandering brooks and far-reaching views.
Our Free Programme includes the ever-popular Children’s Treasure Hunt. Whilst families and groups can join in our Cryptic Mystery Walk – ‘True or False – Can You Tell the Difference?’, to test your powers of observation as all is not as it appears!
The Committee, Walk Leaders and Back Markers will be making sure that everything that can be done to make the Festival and the walks all ‘Covid safe’. We will have pre-walked all of the walks, carried out risk assessments, put in place the booking system and kept an eye on any last-minute changes to the Government Covid advice.
To find out more information please visit our website which will have all of walk detail and how to book.
