Rooted Chippenham’s regular Garden Meet Up, followed by a FREE TALK
We’re holding our monthly Rooted Chippenham garden meet-up from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 1st March 2025, and we’d love you to come and join us! There will be plenty of gardening activities for all ages, abilities and experience, as Spring fast approaches in the garden.
We’re excited to share that we’ll also be presenting a talk inside the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre at 12pm, including special guest speaker Ben Raskin.
Ben Luger from Rooted will present an introduction to our new Community Tree Nursery, including how it will operate, our progress so far and the volunteer opportunities available throughout the year that we’d love you to get involved in!
We’re pleased to also welcome Ben Raskin, Head of Horticulture and Agroforestry at the Soil Association, who will explore the magic of native trees and hedgerows, explaining how they can positively impact our local community.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you have.
Feel free to join us at 10.00am to lend a hand in the garden, or arrive by 11:45am if you’re only attending the talk. We’re looking forward to a day filled with growth, learning, and community spirit – we hope to see you there!
