Trio Paradis Café Concert at St Andrew’s

Trio Paradis play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s on the first Tuesday morning of each month (except January) at 11am: informal feel-good music events with refreshments available in the pop-up café half an hour before the concert, where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and cakes.

Our programme for June is inspired by a variety of flowers… and gardens, with music by Lili Boulanger – D’un Jardin clair, Muriel Herbert, Rud Langgaard: Fjeldblomster, Dora Pejacevic Violets, Franz Schubert Heidenröslein, Germaine Tailleferre Fleurs de France, and more. As it’s June, roses are featured, including Fauré: Roses d’Isphahan, Roses from the South by Johann Strauss and Honeysuckle Rose by Thomas ‘Fats’ Waller.

Concerts last c45m and entrance – or rather, exit! – is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. All ages welcome, including children.
