Creating art can be therapeutic in all stages of life. It can be particularly helpful for people living with dementia who still enjoy the process of painting, drawing and being creative, and feel a sense of achievement with their finished work.
Chippenham art group meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month in St Paul’s Church Hall, Greenway Lane, Chippenham. It’s led by artist Fran Young and organised by our experienced community services coordinator Pam Ollis.
Family carers are welcome at the group as full members and encouraged to join in to create their own pieces of art.
This group is kindly part-funded by Chippenham Borough Lands Charity
Key information

Hey, was hoping.to volunteer but the email link doesn’t take me to Annie Clayton’s email and the phone number for volunteers is ‘incorrect’ according to the automated voice I received on the other end.
Hi – thanks for letting us know that the information shared by Alzheimers Support is out of date. The post has now been updated. Best wishes, Katie, One Chippenham.
