The Chippenham Harriers Half Marathon is run over a fast, accurately measured and predominantly flat course starting and finishing at our club’s home base The Chippenham Sports Club on Bristol Road.
The route goes through the centre of Chippenham, up the High Street and then follows scenic country lanes and pretty local villages and hamlets including; Tytherton Lucas, East Tytherton, Avon and Langley Burrell.
This event is ideal for first timers and experienced long distance runners looking to achieve a personal best.
The course is measured and certified as accurate by an accredited course measurer. The Chippenham Harriers Half Marathon is licensed by Run Britain and is included in their race rankings.
ALL PROFITS FROM THIS RACE ARE DONATED TO LOCAL CHARITIES AND GOOD CAUSES. In 2023 that was over £12,000! Additionally the race is organised with “Eco-Credentials” meaning we always try to embrace new materials (like compostable cups and reusable barrier tape) and processes (like car sharing and hiring electric vehicles).
