Chippenham Shed is a community space mainly, for people over 18 years of age to meet, converse and be creative.
The Shed exists for members to have a friendly chat, some laughter, share experiences, make new friends, and find fun in life.
Much is on offer to keep members interested including:
- A weekly get-together to chat over tea and biscuits (cakes have been known to appear too!).
- A range of social events and activities throughout the year. There is usually at least one event each month. Past events include an archery taster, BBQs, a Bowls taster, a curry and beer evening, a Christmas lunch and much more. Forthcoming events can be found on our website.
- The Shed has its own allotment for members to grow fruit and veg.
- We have a well-equipped workshop located within the grounds of North Wilts Bowls Club. Members will be encouraged to make or mend their own items and get involved in community projects to make Chippenham an even better place to live.
