As-We-See-It-Saturday

Join us for As-We-See-It-Saturday, a celebration of all things photography at Chippenham Museum.

This special event marks 25 years since the original ‘As We See It’ project, in which three young people created a photographic record of Chippenham through over 500 black-and-white film images. Now, a new generation from the museum’s Photo Club is recreating the project, this time using both film and digital photography to reflect how much the town, and photography itself, has changed.

Come and view a selection of then-and-now images from the museum’s collection, discover how today’s young photographers are progressing with their project, and get involved in creating a collective photo artwork. Whether you’re a photography enthusiast, local history fan, or just curious, As-We-See-It-Saturday is a chance to celebrate creativity, community, and the evolving everyday.
