Situated at the end of Westmead lane, The Arc offers bouldering and roped climbing for all ages and abilities. Climbing is a sociable sport that is great for physical and mental health, developing strength, fitness, balance, problem-solving and focus – plus it’s lots of fun. The roped climbing includes top-ropes, lead lines and auto belays as well as an outside climbing wall overlooking a free (unsupervised) skatepark.
ENTRY
You can start bouldering at any age (as long as you are accompanied by a registered adult) and start roped climbing from 6 years. Over 70s climb for free. You can pay-per-visit or sign up for a monthly pass – which gets you into all TCA centres. There are 2 in Bristol and 2 in Glasgow.
For registered climbers, there is no time limit. You can stay to climb for as long as your arms will let you!
DROP-IN CLIMBING AND BOOKED COURSES
You can just drop-in to boulder without having to book or do a course. Registered rope climbers can also drop-in anytime. Courses for adults, taster sessions and youth classes can be booked online.
LITTLE ONES

SPACE TO RELAX
The Arc Cafe is open to the public for pastries, breakfast, pizzas, burgers, kids meals and more daily.
