After the brilliant success of last year’s inaugural event, Chippenham will once again come alive with a fabulous celebration of love, diversity, and acceptance at the Chippenham Pride Festival 2024 on Saturday 15th June. Whether you’re a part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Building on the momentum from the 2023 festival, Chippenham Pride 2024 promises to be even bigger and better. Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of offerings, including live performances, delicious food stalls, inspiring speakers and unique merchandise. The festival is free to attend but all donations are appreciated to help support both this year’s and future Prides in Chippenham.
The Chippenham Pride festival opens from 11am at Monkton Park with the official flag-raising ceremony and at 12 pm the colourful Pride Walk will parade through the town centre.
The Main Stage, sponsored by Good Energy & Siemens and compered by Chippenham’s very own Sheila Tackya & the electrifying Miss Lightening, will showcase an array of talented performers from 11am to 10pm. Highlights include Harmony Asia, MEG, Summer, Stu Joslin, The Decibels, Pheeb’s Pole Fit, Clare Cordell from The Voice UK, Butane Skies, PSG Choir, a Madonna Tribute by Laura King, and Concrete Prairie.
The Cabaret Stage, sponsored by Dark Obsession and compered by Wil Hodgson, will keep the party going from 6:30 pm to 10:30pm. Expect performances by Miss Lucy Luscious Lips, Queen Swindon, Pheebs Pole Fit, Eddie French, Katie Mitchell, and Vix Leyton.
But Chippenham Pride isn’t just about entertainment; it’s also about education and awareness. The Education Stage, from 2pm to 5pm, will host insightful discussions and presentations from organisations like NSPCC, Connect, Olive Branch Counselling, First Light, Trans Media Watch, Adoption West, Girl Guiding Wiltshire, Smash, and local LGBTQIA+ students, shedding light on important issues and resources.
If you’re looking to keep the party going, the official Chippenham Pride After Party at Club E11ven is the place to be. This is a ticket only event (£6) where you can dance the night away in a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
The event organisers, a dedicated team of volunteers, have been working tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience that welcomes everyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, colour, or age. Let’s come together and make this year’s festival a resounding success!

May we join the parade to walk through town?
Thank you!
Hi Peter. Everyone is welcome to join in the parade but participants need to be registered. If you pop onto the Chippenham Pride website using the link in the blog post above you will see on the home page a section which says ‘Walk & After Party Tickets’ – if you click on that you will find out more and be able to complete the registration.
