Having trained in Body Aware\, Mask\, Japanese and Chinese Theatre\, as an actor and director\, Marnie uses the body and text to tell a story. She uses her work in the Arts as a Creative Facilitator and has worked for Theatres throughout the British Isles – Salisbury Playhouse\, The Everyman\, Cheltenham and The Roses Tewkesbury. She has worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company and Prime Theatre. Directing and using drama skills is part of what she does and her work with RADA has been used for communication and confidence projects. \nYou will gain experience of professional working methods and tools to use in your own acting work.

The film has an ensemble cast which includes Ricardo Darín (The Secret in Their Eyes\, Carancho)\, Oscar Martínez (Official Competition)\, Leonardo Sbaraglia (Dolor y gloria)\, Érica Rivas. \nThe film received critical acclaim\, particularly for being a good example of an engaging anthology film\, for its cast (mainly Rivas)\, humour\, cinematography\, and music. It won a number of awards including eight Platino Awards\, the BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language\, and the Goya Award for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards\, and for the Palme d’Or at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. Wild Tales is the most-seen Argentine film of all time.

Starring Paul Mescal (Normal People\, God’s Creatures)\, Frankie Corio and Celia Rowlson-Hall\, the film follows an 11-year-old girl Sophie\, on holiday with her father at a Turkish resort on the eve of his 31st birthday. \nThe film tells the story through a series of memories and personal recollections\, filtered through a haze of memory and imagination by the now-adult Sophie (Celia Rowlson-Hall) looking back on things she didn’t really understand at the time. Aftersun had its world premiere at Cannes on 21 May 2022\, where Wells was nominated for the Golden Camera\, Scottish-born\, New York-based writer-director Wells picked up a whopping 16 nominations at the British Independent Film Awards.

DESCRIPTION:Dogman is the story of Marcello (played by Marcello Fonte)\, a timid dog groomer who moonlights as a drug dealer\, and his encounters with Simoncino\, a violent gangster. When Simocino frames Marcello in a crime\, Marcello begins to plot his revenge. \nDogman enjoyed some 40 nominations and 32 industry awards\, most notably Marcello Fonte\, who won the Palme d’ Or for best actor\, the canine cast also picked up the Palm Dog\, I’m not joking\, they really did. \nThe film will be shown at The Reel on Monday 12th September\, tickets are available through the Chippenham Film Club’s website.\n.

DESCRIPTION:‘It gently stretches our abilities\, while making it fun’ \n3 x 6 week Acting projects delivered online to the comfort of your home. \nCovid gave our improvisation group a chance to try out lots of techniques for radio and script acting and we liked it.
