Chippenham is getting ready to celebrate inclusion, creativity and community spirit as PrideFest 2026 returns for an exciting weekend of events on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2026.
Organised by Pride in Chippenham CIC, this year’s festival builds on the success of their inaugural Pridefest 2025 event, which brought together residents, businesses, community organisations and visitors from across Wiltshire to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community.
And for 2026, PrideFest is growing even bigger.
A Town-Wide Celebration
Unlike many Pride events held in a single location, PrideFest 2026 will take place across Chippenham, with venues throughout the town opening their doors to host a vibrant and diverse programme of activities, performances and community events.
From live music and drag performances to workshops, yoga, film screenings, comedy and family activities, PrideFest will transform Chippenham into a weekend-long celebration of visibility, belonging and pride.
Participating venues include:
- Bargammon’s Tavern
- Cousin Norman’s
- Emery Gate Shopping Centre
- Fabric Forest
- Grounded
- The Flying Monk
- Neeld Community & Arts Centre
- Old Road Tavern
- Reel Cinema
- Rivo Lounge
- The Ruze
- The Santosha Studio
- High Street and Market Place
- Island Park
- Monkton Park
This town-centre approach reflects Pride in Chippenham’s vision to fully integrate Pride into the heart of the community and create spaces where everyone feels welcome, safe and celebrated.
Expanding into Island Park
One of the biggest additions for 2026 is the expansion into the beautiful riverside setting of Island Park. Picnic in the Park is a free, family-friendly daytime celebration space at the centre of the festival weekend.
Pride in Chippenham CIC has been awarded £3,000 in funding from Chippenham Borough Lands Charity to support the delivery of Picnic in the Park, helping to make the event accessible, inclusive and welcoming for the whole community.
Following the Pride Parkrun in Monkton Park, the free Park Yoga session and colourful Pride Parade through the High Street, festivalgoers can gather in Island Park for an afternoon of entertainment, creativity and connection.
Visitors can enjoy:
- Performances from the Rock Choir
- Art and craft workshops
- Food stalls
- Charity and community stands
- Interactive activities
- A free family friendly Silent Disco
- Samba workshops
- Live entertainment
- Dedicated wellbeing and quieter spaces
The event has been designed with accessibility and inclusion at its core, particularly for families, young people and those attending Pride for the first time.

The hugely popular PrideFest Market is also returning with a larger venue and extended two-day programme.
Located in the former Tesco store at the back of Emery Gate Shopping Centre next to the car park, the market will feature a huge range of local traders, makers and community stalls selling crafts, gifts, food and more. There will also be Dino Mini Golf offering fun for all ages.
