On Saturday 17th May, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust will bring the countryside into the heart of Chippenham with Country Comes to Town, a free, family-friendly event taking place at Monkton Park.
The event taking place between 10am and 4pm offers a chance to find out more about the Trust’s work across Wiltshire through a mix of interactive experiences, educational activities, and fun for the kids. Visitors can explore how everyone can play a part in supporting local wildlife and building a more sustainable future for wildlife and people!
Activities on the day will include:
- Wellness activities run by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Wellbeing team
- Fun nature-themed arts and crafts
- Information on local conservation efforts, including projects like Vincients Wood
- Plus, a smoothie bike, hook-a-duck, plant stall and more
A range of local environmental groups will also be taking part, giving visitors the chance to learn about different aspects of nature, conservation, and community projects. Attending organisations include:
