Moonrakers’ Educafe: a great community welcome
An event every 2 weeks that begins at 10:30 am on Monday, repeating until 21 December 2026
Our warm and welcoming community space and café takes place fortnightly at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre and is perfect for anyone who’d like to feel more connected and uplifted in a friendly, caring and welcoming atmosphere.
Join us and take part in free activities including knitting, jewellery making and crafting. There are opportunities to play traditional board games alongside our amazing Dungeons and Dragons game experience, or you are most welcome to sit quietly, soaking in the atmosphere with a good book to discover more about Wiltshire’s history.
If you would like to practice your English, our ‘Chatty Corner’ sessions will be perfect for you.
You can also take refreshment in our cafe area where we serve hot and cold drinks and a selection of homemade cakes.
Refreshments and activities are all free, and everyone is welcome.
The Educafe runs fortnightly from 10.30am-2pm at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre, Chippenham, a 5 minute walk from the railway station, accessible via buses 33, X31, X33, X34, 35, 35A, 44A, 44B, 44D, 44M, 55, 91, 92, 635.
