Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub

Still available for local residents

Wiltshire Council’s Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub is still available to anyone who is struggling during this difficult time – and will now be available on Saturdays.

The hub can help and provide support to those who perhaps don’t have a network around them, and also signpost them to where additional help is available in their local area. Hundreds of community groups, run by volunteers, are still set up across the county, providing invaluable assistance to those who need it.

Anyone can access the hub, particularly people who are self-isolating, people who do not have others to support them, and have been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable and are shielding.

People can get in touch with the hub via email at wellbeinghub@wiltshire.gov.uk or by calling 0300 003 4576. It’s available from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturdays. The opening hours will be regularly reviewed throughout the coming weeks and months, and the council will notify people of any changes to these.

Cllr Philip Whitehead, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said

This continues to be a difficult time for all of us, but the lockdown and its impact affects some people more urgently than others, so we’re doing what we can to make sure people are ok and have what they need.

So far during the pandemic, the Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub has responded to more than 13,500 calls and emails, and made telephone contact with more than 24,000 people who have been shielding.

The hub is a valuable safety net for people and will be in place as long as it’s needed.

Wiltshire Council’s dedicated COVID-19 page includes links to all the relevant national guidance and regular updates on Wiltshire Council services.
