The Rotary Club of Chippenham have had to adapt to the current circumstances and raise money for their work in the community in a completely different way than they would have done in the past.
Due to the very kind donation of the use of retail premises in Chippenham, they have opened a Pop-Up Shop right in the centre of the town. It is an ideal location, right beside Bath Road car park on the north side of the main river bridge in Bath Road (SN15 2AB) .
It is hoped that the shop, which will remain open for six weeks, will raise lots of money for the Rotary Club’s good causes. There will be a huge selection of quality nearly new clothes, as well as bric-a-brac, books, toys, DVDs, CDs & all sorts of goodies. In addition, they will sell locally made ice cream in hygienic tubs, as well as wonderful oils & salad dressings from a north Somerset farm. There will also be local artwork and notecards on sale.
The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday for the next six weeks from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm. It is Covid safe and all Government guidelines for the retail sector have been implemented.
