KANDU ARTS HOSTS ST PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION FOR CHIPPENHAMS LOCAL COMMUNITY – SUNDAY 17TH MARCH 7PM – 10PM AT THE KING ALFRED HALL
Join Kandu Arts – a non-profit organisation – this Sunday as they host a St Patricks Day Celebration for any and all members of the Chippenham community. Taking place at the King Alfred Hall from 7pm – 10pm with a variety of live music from local musicians, homemade Irish stew, and a selection of refreshments. Live performances from; Kandu Arts’ very own founder and director Ed Deedigan playing with The Kandu Collective featuring Guillem Mitchel, Jonah Jones and Konsuela Yovbak, Mike Morrissey’s Free Spirits, Maddie Ellis & Konsuela Yovbak, Oli Hounsel, Guillem Mitchel, Jonah Jones & John Savage, and Kula Chakula.
Kandu Arts for sustainable development is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire, and has worked since 1998 with communities, often the most marginalized and hardest to reach up and down the country. They use music, film, visual arts & sport as a means to explore a wide range of issues. Combined with nurturing strong relationships, this approach is highly effective in areas of engaging the disaffected, increasing community cohesion and development.
Any money raised from this St Patrick’s Day Celebration will go towards future events like this one which provide an important outlet for the community and a platform for local musicians.
