The walk is going to be led by the experienced team from Get Wiltshire Walking and there are three different walk lengths.
Everyone will meet at 9.30am on the corner of Langley Road and Foundry Lane in Chippenham, where the stone marks the end of Maud Heath’s Causeway.
The shortest walk will stop at Langley Burrell Village Hall and return to the start point. This is approximately 3 miles long.
The second walk will go all the way to the Moravian Church in East Tytherton and back to Chippenham. This is approximately 7.5 miles long.
Finally, the longest walk will go all the way to the start of the causeway at the top of Wick Hill and back into Chippenham. This walk is just shy of 10 miles.
There will be tea, coffee, cake and toilets at Langley Burrell Village Hall and The Moravian Church in East Tytherton* (*Whilst the Moravian Church does not have a public toilet, for walkers who are desperate the Minister has said they can use hers).
Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather (we will update you nearer the time) and shoes for walking. Bring water and a packed lunch if you are taking part in the longer walks.
This walk is free to attend but please book your place in advance by emailing:- emily@yesterdaysstory.co.uk
