Trio Paradis: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.15 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.

The music for June’s concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, the Allegro from ‘Jacob’s Dream’ Trio in Eb by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Turina and Rachmaninov.

Concerts last c45m and entrance – or rather, exit! – is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website, www.trioparadis.com, is much appreciated but not essential.
