The biennial Peacock Arts Trail runs from 4th – 12th October 2025 across North West Wiltshire. Over 80 artists will be exhibiting at 40+ venues in Corsham, Yatton Keynell, Box, Melksham, Holt, Atworth, surrounding villages and of course here in Chippenham.
You’ll find painting, textiles, photography, sculpture, glass, printmaking, ceramics and more. Local homes, studios, galleries and shops are transformed into exhibition spaces, giving you the chance to meet artists, see them at work, and buy directly.
In Chippenham, four venues are within approximately one mile walking distance of each other, making it easy to enjoy a trail through town.

Simon Griffiths – Art form: Painting
Simon Griffiths is a self-taught artist influenced by surrealism, lowbrow, fantasy, street and pop art, tattoos, comic books and death. He painted sporadically when he was younger. His art is colourful with large amounts of humour, satire and irony. Simon paints in oil.Walking down The Causeway from Market Place, the gallery is on the left before the Taj Mahal restaurant.

Art by Julie B – Art form: Painting: Julie Bolton is a soft pastel artist who is inspired by the beautiful Wiltshire landscape and her love of animals.
Caroline Butler Creation Arts – Art form: Painting: Watercolour artist with nature being the inspiration for her art.
Galit Litvak-Watson (Craftedglow by Galit) – Textiles: Handcrafted textiles with intricate patterns and glowing colours.

SkyDog Glass – Glass: Glass artist renowned for transforming sheet glass into stunning, intricately formed works of art, using the technique of glass fusion.

Kerstie’s Curiosities – Ceramics & Mixed Media
Kerstie creates quirky ceramic and mixed-media pieces, often inspired by folklore and nature.

Visiting Tips
- Getting around: Venues 35–38 are close to each other (approximately 1 mile between them) making a great short walking trail.
- Opening times: Check before you travel, as each venue and/or artist has specific hours
- Parking: Varies by venue (see above directions).
- Amenities: Chippenham town centre has lots of lovely cafes and pubs for breaks between visits.
