History Portal Club: Lost Pubs of Chippenham (walk)

Back for one day only, by popular demand, to celebrate the 1st birthday of History Portal Club – the popular walk that explores the many missing pubs that used to punctuate Chippenham’s streets.

This walk and talk will take a look at long gone hostelries and inns, from the earliest records to those that disappeared just a few years ago.
Woven in will be tales from landlords past, events that shocked the town, and the changing social life of the town.
