Chippenham Parkrun

Why don’t you kick off your morning of the Teen Takeover weekend with a brisk 5k!!

Chippenham Parkrun is a FREE weekly 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 9am in Monkton Park, Chippenham, Wiltshire. Meet: 8:50am at the Multi-use Games Area in Monkton Park

The course is run on a mixture of trail paths, tarmac paths and gravel paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain.

It offers an opportunity for all the local community, regardless of age or gender, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the outdoors and get physically active. We want to encourage people to run, jog, walk and volunteer together – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Taking part is easy – just register before your first ever parkrun and remember to bring a scannable copy of your registration barcode, that way your running time will be recorded.

Suitable for ages 11+ (under 11’s welcome to walk/run the course but must complete the course with an adult)

Did you know Chippenham junior parkrun takes place every Sunday (ages 4 to 14) – junior parkrun is a series of 2k runs for children aged between 4 and 14. They are open to all, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
