‘Transformation’ is a short film that shows a week in the life of an ordinary girl as she transforms 7 different materials, using different techniques to create 7 unique looks, visiting 7 different places. The garments have been made using a range of up-cycled materials and have been individually decorated by talented local artists and crafts people.

There is a look-book and programme available to accompany the short film, which enables you to take a closer look at their beautiful work. Then take part in the live, making tutorial with Refashion My Town which will give you the opportunity to sew one of the garments yourself. The tutorial is suitable for all skill levels and there will be a Q&A at the end of the session. The pattern instructions are available to download when you book your free place for event here.

Refashion My Town promotes the reuse and up-cycling of clothing and fabric amongst young people in the area, to reduce the impact of fast fashion on our environment.
