Textile Art Mini-Me

Inspired by Chippenham Museum’s textile art exhibition, discover a range of techniques with local artist Fi Redmond to create yourself in stitch.
You will try appliqué and simple stitches including running, long and French knots. Both beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome.
This session is for ages 8+ (unaccompanied) and booking is essential.
Fi Redmond is a local textile artist whose work features in the museum’s exhibition, The Covid Chronicle.
Open at Chippenham Museum 9 April – 7 May with free entry, The Covid Chronicle is a textile art project capturing the national collective experience of the pandemic. The large-scale artwork is touring the UK and features work by the Chippenham community, including local artist Fi Redmond.
