This friendly and interactive club session will explore the building’s heyday and the changing face of maternity care in Chippenham through the 20th century and beyond.

History Portal Club is a friendly regular meet-up for curious locals who love stories from the past, hidden landmarks, and great company.

It’s a great way to explore the local area’s past together – no lectures, no stuffy rooms, just walking, talking, pub chats, and stories you won’t find in the guidebooks.
