REME Museum Christmas Fair
Kick off your festive shopping at the REME Museum Christmas Fair with stalls full of handmade goods and local offers!
Get in the holiday spirit and purchase gifts for loved ones, find that perfect Secret Santa gift or simply buy a treat for yourself. You’ll also have a chance to meet Santa Claus, as he joins us from the North Pole to read to families from some classic Christmas storybooks!
By popular demand, this year the museum is making it bigger! To make sure you have plenty of space to browse all the stalls and to offer even more local businesses the opportunity to have a stall, the Christmas Fair will be held throughout the Museum Galleries.
The museum is asking for a small entry donation of £1. Your donations help to support the REME Charity, which provides financial assistance to past and present members of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and their dependants. They also support the REME Museum.
Entry to the museum is included with entry to the Christmas Fair, but please note that visibility of displays will be limited on this day due to business stalls and lighting will be adjusted too, so if you would like a normal museum experience we recommend visiting on another day.
Refreshments will be available to purchase from Crown’s Café, which will only be open to visitors with a ticket to the event.
Free parking will be available in the museum’s large car park, visitors are asked to please reserve a parking space if you need one in advance. Blue Badge spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis and you must have reserved a parking space online. If you can, please consider travelling by alternative means.
