Local Author Talk – The Athelstan Pilgrim Way

Carole Britton has written Past, Present, Presence, The Companion Guide to the newly created Athelstan Pilgrim Way, which takes in over 30 villages and churches in and around Malmesbury, including Kington Langley, Christian Malford, Tytherton Kellaways and Sutton Benger. The book follows the journeys, thoughts and life of self titled “part time hermit”, Hilary Peters, the inspiration for this Pilgrim Way. Carole tells the story of Hilary, “an extraordinary life well lived” and the series of events and coincidences that brought the Pilgrim Way to completion.
