Big Green Picnic Day

Right at Home Central Wiltshire is inviting local people living with dementia, their families, friends and carers to enjoy a free, dementia-friendly Big Green Picnic at the Climbing Academy ‘The Arc’. The event forms part of a nationwide initiative led by Dementia Adventure, celebrating the positive impact that spending time outdoors can have on wellbeing and social connection.

The event has been created to encourage people living with dementia to get out, meet others and enjoy a relaxed day in nature. By bringing together clients, families and local residents, the picnic aims to reduce social isolation while creating meaningful opportunities to connect, reminisce & have fun.
