Chippenham Area Board, Chippenham Borough Lands Charity, Morrisons, and Wiltshire Council are working together to offer a range of support packages for community groups who are looking to re-launch as we work toward the next ‘unlock’ step on 17th May.
These packages are aimed at the voluntary and community sector who run activities such as; coffee mornings, luncheon clubs, nit and natter, book clubs, social support groups, to name a few.
Chippenham Borough Lands are offering groups support toward hall hire and associated opening costs up to £100 per group. You can add and promote your group via this website – find out more information about how to do that HERE.
Morrisons are offering refreshments package of tea, coffee, biscuits and their Community Champion Sarah can visit the group to lend a hand during your first sessions.
Wiltshire Council officers Emma Morrice, Local Area Coordinator and Oliver Phipps, Community Engagement Manager are offering information and advice support to those groups looking to re-start but have some apprehensions and questions about how to safely open.
Alongside PPE funding for face masks from Wiltshire Council’s Area Board.
If you know of a group that could benefit from any of the above support packages please contact;
