Daft Laffs – A night of comedy greats, Fringe Feb

Join us for a night of top class stand-up comedy from some of the hottest comedians to grace the comedy circuit! 

‘Daft Laffs’ brings together a diverse range of comedians to celebrate the weird and wonderful world that we all call home. From observational humour to downright silliness, we have carefully curated a line up with something for everyone to enjoy!

Hosted by Chippenham Comedy Club legend Wil Hodgson, ‘Daft Laffs’ has been produced by Melt Productions as part of Chippenham Fringe February.

With brilliant comedians Spencer Jones, Priya Hall, Abi Clarke and Sophie Duker!

Spencer Jones has been nominated for the Edinburgh comedy award twice, has Bafta Nominations, Created The Mind of Herbert Clunkerdunk, appeared in Ted Lasso, Upstart Crow, Mr Winner, Big Babies. ”Spencers chaotic live act is aways visual and musical’ – The Guardian

Priya Hall is a stand up comedian and writer. She has featured on  Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central), BBC  Presents:  Stand up for Live Comedy (BBC One & Three), Live From Aberystwyth Pier (BBC One Wales and BBC Radio Wales), Fred At The Stand (BBC Radio 4), Machynlleth Comedy Showcase (BBC Radio Wales), Stand Yp (S4C). She was a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2021.

She has written on the revival of the BBC Three sitcom Bad Education, which is available on BBC iPlayer. 

Abi Clarke is a stand-up comedian and presenter from Bristol who took to the internet in 2020 due to lockdown and achieved remarkable success. In her first year online, she amassed over a million followers across Instagram and TikTok, and now boasts a large following of 367k followers on Instagram, 893k followers on TikTok and 590k subscribers on YouTube. Abi was named as one of the eleven comedy stars of the internet by The Independent, and has had her viral sketches shared by the likes of E! News, Buzzfeed, LadBible, Good Morning Britain, and BBC One.

Sophie Duker is a comedian and writer whose Edinburgh Fringe Show, Venus, saw her nominated for the Best Newcomer award and gained critical acclaim and five star reviews, leading to a two week sold out run at Soho Theatre.

Sophie is a regular guest on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC2). She has appeared on Live at The Apollo (BBC2), Mock the Week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4) and Hypothetical (Dave). Sophie is the winner of the 13th series of Taskmaster (Channel 4).
